Description

She almost smiled

She wears the armor, she bears a frown
She would not smile, not that she doesn’t know how
She portrays herself as a warrior who’s always insecure
She doesn’t want to be hurt, she thinks she’s mature
Yet deep beneath her skin, a piercing feeling
A wild, untamed beast, who’s always smiling
The beast inside her, is her own yearning
The more she suppress her smile, the more she aches for the feeling

*Excuse my horrible rhyming ability!

This is for all the warrior girls, who needs to chill out and have fun once in a while
You maybe beautiful, but with a smile, you are magical!

*So there you have it, a warrior girl who would not smile, and her wild untamed feeling inside her, which is the beast!*

PS. Her left arm is an optical arm!
Her right is holding a flash light with a smile, signifying that she is looking for her smile!

Ah yes. It's quite the rage now to call people uneducated when they disagree with you. By some weak stretch of the imagination it supposedly makes you seem more educated.

Well, I could have wasted my time by actually pointing out what makes this piece so bad. Like the almost non-existent composition, the use of pure white, which completely blows out the colors and causes the character to get lost in the background. The monster which resembles Spawn's Violator, and is in the picture for no apparent reason. Or the abysmal use of the "liquify" filter (not to mention the other stock filters) to create a smeary, and wholly unappealing mess of a picture. But I figured that would all fall on deaf ears, and of course, I would be completely wrong. Since "art" (and I use that term as loosly as the definition allows) is subjective.

So I'll just say, next time you let your butt draw, make sure it takes some lessons first.

If you feel such passion about it, then... I would advise you to post a few of your humblest work for me to learn from. Hmm?

Other than that, being cocky, pretentious and rude... is just very uneducated!
Inspiration lost!
Incorrect use of the mind!

Oh... and yes I don't just feel more educated, I would suppose Im.
Base on ur rude comments! If u feels strongly about my work, then I advise you to constructively comment in ways that I can appreciate, I’m always willing to learn! But if you feel a great dislike toward my work, then leave it be... Do not comment in such uneducated manner, It is a waste of ur time and mine!

Other than that!
Have a nice day! hmm?

Lets see if I can give you a little advice to help you along, firstly don't get discouraged, if you enjoy doing art and creating then it's your god given right to do so. Mostly what I can see wrong with this picture is the choice of colour the white throws everything off and the bright green just clashes with everything. Also in art the best compositions always have a focal point, a centre, something that draws the eye towards what you wish the viewer to see to get the point across. Whether that happens to be a monumental battle scene or just a still life study of light and shadow, it's always nice to have a balenced composition. Look at your rough sketch before you start colouring and ask yourself whether it looks balenced or lopsided. The third tip would be to practice anatomy, this of the upmost importance to artists, I would say that good anatomy is one of the most important skills an artist can have for your style of work. Copy from magazine photos or catalogs or simpley ask someone to sit still while you do a quick study of their profile. All this really does help, keep your old sketch books and in a years time after practice look back on them and you will see how much you have improved, you really will be suprised. This will spur you on to become even better. Above all don't loose heart in something you obviously enjoy doing. Good luck!

i'm not sure about 'god given', but it might be in the constitution somewhere.

+what juro said +study perspective. geometry classes are useless unless you're studying architecture, but you might actually pick up a couple of useful things from them to apply in your drawings.

Just one tip: use of the smudge tool in place of a paintbrush is generally a bad thing. Same goes for filters. They just look cheap to me.

You can get more interesting colors and textures by using brushes with lower opacities, and different sizes.

Arches, I think you could really get something going with where you are taking your painting, but you've got to work at it quite a bit more. I see lots of potential that's just being wasted because it's being implemented all wrong, but as soon as you get it right, your stuff will look tons greater. Aside from other's comments, there's not much left to be said except to go with them. And btw, you have an awesome sense of humor...your replies gave me a laugh...good luck painting.

Ok, you've had your hissy fit, and spammed the "saywhat" to no end. I don't feel the need to perpetuate this infantile form of highschool-esque drama any further. I sincerely hope you improve.

Oh, and for your information, I didn't even vote on this piece (you can even check with the mods if you feel so inclined). So you're conspiracy theory of "who's voting 0 on all the work" is un-founded.
